CHORNITSA was founded in 2020 in Haifa with a vision to merge the rich traditions of Ukrainian folklore with the intensity of heavy rock music. Our name, meaning "Blueberry" in Ukrainian, symbolizes both our connection to nature and our deep roots in Ukrainian cultural heritage.

In 2021, we released our debut album "На весь голос", featuring 10 original Ukrainian songs that showcase our unique blend of traditional folk melodies with modern heavy rock arrangements. This album established our signature sound and introduced audiences to our musical philosophy.

Our 2024 English single "Summer Spirit" represents a new chapter in our musical journey. This poetic hymn celebrates the archetype of woman-nature, mother-earth, and the life force of existence itself. The song portrays summer as a creative feminine essence that unites sky, earth, and water, bringing beauty, fertility, and love.
